golden SUN in san francisco

Updated: Sep 19, 2023

I figured why Tony Bennett left his heart in San Francisco. This city extends a gracious welcome, imbuing the air with a stream of refreshing coolness, a stark contrast to the Texan heat we're accustomed to. The sun here possesses an unparalleled character. As it ascends to lofty heights, its yellow hues radiate a warmth that suggests the painter had ample time to meticulously blend those golden shades on his palette. The sky itself is a flawless expanse of blue, cloudless and crystal clear, mirroring the essence of the hillside city. A vivid interplay of yellow and blue now permanently etches itself into my memory whenever I contemplate San Francisco.

Amid the Victorian houses that grace the city's slopes, a line of trees decorates the sides of the winding roads, casting their elongated shadows onto the sun-kissed walls. Unlike the bustling excitement of the Pier, we found solace and serenity meandering through the tranquil neighborhoods.

To be where little cable cars climb halfway to the stars"
